INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO · DOHA
Nada Tamer
Designing space as experience — material, light, and meaning.
QATAR FOUNDATION · 2026
“Honored by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser through the Qatar Foundation Excellence Award.”
EXCELLENCE AWARD · ACADEMIC & CREATIVE ACHIEVEMENT
I am a pioneer at heart — always searching for excellence, not merely achieving it. Every award is a milestone in a longer pursuit: of sharper thinking, deeper craft, and spaces that carry feeling. Recognition is never the destination — it is proof the search is still alive.
VISION
A practice rooted in human experience.
“Space is the slowest form of storytelling.”
I explore how interior design shapes experience, emotion, and interaction within space. My work is thoughtful, human-centered, and responsive to its users — built on a balance of material, light, and spatial clarity that supports both function and feeling.
This portfolio brings together my thesis work alongside other creative explorations — an ongoing investigation into how design can hold culture, care, and clarity inside the same room.
AWARDS & RECOGNITION

SELECTED PROJECTS
Recent work.
Three projects — one daycare, one neuro center, one home — connected by a single belief: that space should respond to the people who live inside it.
01 — Thesis Project - Sensory Care
Al-Ihtiwa
AUTISM DAYCARE · SENSORY-DRIVEN
A sensory-driven autism daycare designed to support comfort, emotional wellbeing, and inclusive play. Soft forms, controlled lighting, and thoughtful material selection create a safe, engaging environment tailored to the needs of neurodiverse children.
02 — Healthcare
Arcadia
NEURO CENTER · THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT
A neuro center designed to support therapy, care, and wellbeing through a structured, calming spatial environment. Clear organization, controlled sensory conditions, and considered materials combine into a supportive and functional healthcare setting.
03 — Residential
Indlela: The Path
MULTIGENERATIONAL HOME · CULTURAL GEOMETRY
A home shaped by movement, culture, and connection. Indlela reinterprets the symbolic geometry of Zulu beadwork into a spatial journey — where form, material, and circulation come together to support a multigenerational way of living.
ABOUT
Designer.
Researcher.
Pioneer.
Based in Doha and trained at VCUarts Qatar, I design interiors that hold meaning — for people, for culture, and for the way we move through a day. I work at the intersection of academic research and applied craft, treating every brief as an opportunity to ask a better question before drawing a better answer.
The work has been recognized by the Qatar Foundation, the Arab Engineering Bureau, and international programs at Politecnico di Torino and Qatar Museums × Education Above All — but the part I value most is the next sketch on the table.
